Lemon, tangerine, geranium, aldehydes and blackcurrant give the opening a lifted, dry contrast before the resinous center arrives. The citrus is quickly absorbed by a more shadowed floral-spice structure.
Rose sits with labdanum, benzoin, incense, myrrh and clove in the heart. The profile is smoky and warm but intentionally restrained, using the rose as a dry floral thread rather than a sweet soliflore.
Ambergris, vetiver, tonka, vanilla, patchouli and musk make the base deep and polished. A powerful woody-amber material contributes the dry radiance; for sensitive wearers, that material can be overwhelming.
