Mugler — Alien Goddess Intense
Essence
Alien Goddess Intense is a richer, warmer version of Alien Goddess: creamy coconut and bergamot giving way to jasmine, jasmine tea, amber vanilla and benzoin. It is smoother and more floral than the original Goddess, but far safer than classic Alien.
Scent Profile
The opening pairs tangy bergamot with creamy coconut. Compared with the first Alien Goddess, the coconut is less dominant and less suntan-lotion-like. The heart is where the Intense earns its name. Jasmine grandiflorum and jasmine tea come forward, making the fragrance more floral, slightly drier and more connected to the Alien idea. The base is warm and cozy: Bourbon vanilla, benzoin and cashmere wood produce an amber-vanilla glow with a soft fuzzy edge. The whole scent moves smoothly from citrus-coconut to jasmine to balsamic vanilla.
Performance
Performance is generally moderate to strong, with a noticeable scent bubble early and good persistence on clothing. Many wearers get around a full day of soft wear, while some report weaker recent bottles. It is not vintage-Mugler beast mode, but it is not a whisper either.
