Essence
Spicebomb Infrared Eau de Parfum is the dry leather turn in Viktor & Rolf’s Infrared branch. Released after the sweeter red-fruit Infrared Eau de Toilette, it strips the idea down to red pepper, spice, smooth leather and resinous woods. It is more mature, less playful and more polarizing than the EDT.
Scent Profile
The opening is hot and spicy: red chili pepper, pink pepper and cinnamon create a real heated sensation rather than a generic warm-spice blur. It feels bright, sharp and slightly alcoholic in the first minutes. The heart belongs to leather. As the fruitless spice settles, a smooth leather accord becomes the main signature, giving the fragrance its drier and more refined identity. It is sensual rather than rugged, and it replaces the tobacco-fruit sweetness of the earlier Infrared. The drydown is resinous wood, amber warmth, leather and lingering cinnamon-chili heat. Acquisition Notes
The EDP is a designer-price Spicebomb, commonly in 50 ml and 90 ml grenade bottles with black glass and red accents. It is often discounted and easy to sample. Confirm the concentration before buying, because the EDT and EDP are different fragrances with different personalities.
