The opening is cherry pit rather than syrupy cherry flesh, with almond undertones, pink pepper, and a brief bergamot lift. Black vanilla, heliotrope, and tonka then form the creamy almond-cherry-vanilla heart. The drydown uses labdanum, cashmeran, ambroxan, and white musk to create the smoky-powdered amber effect promised by the name, even without tobacco or incense.
