The opening is tart and bright with black currant, pink pepper, and cardamom. Rose, cinnamon, cumin, and saffron-like warmth give the middle a spicy floral glow. The base is where the name becomes complicated: vanilla, sandalwood, labdanum, birch smoke, oakmoss, and white musk create a plush sooty amber, while the oud reads more as an idea than a sharp, medicinal, or animalic material. In practice, Sister Oud is closer to a currant-and-cinnamon amber with a smoky oud shadow.
