Bergamot gives Smile its bright first impression. It can read as peel, lemonade or grapefruit-like citrus rather than orange sweetness, while clary sage adds a green aromatic edge. That sage is important: it stops the perfume from becoming a straightforward berry candy. Raspberry arrives gradually and is the main point of interpretation. Some wearers find it natural, leafy and faintly tea-like; others get raspberry soap, bubble bath or a soft pastel body-care effect. Both readings fit the fragrance’s sweet-fresh, clean character.
