Brompton Immortals Extrait de Parfum is Ex Nihilo’s loud Harrods rose: icy saffron and pink pepper over Bulgarian rose, jasmine, vanilla, patchouli, olibanum and musk. It belongs to the Baccarat Rouge 540-era saffron-amber family, but it is denser, rosier and more floral.

The opening is cold, metallic and powerful. Saffron gives the leathery medicinal glow, while pink pepper adds fruit-spice sparkle. Compared with the EDP, the Extrait pushes this opening harder. Bulgarian rose emerges quickly and becomes the center of the composition. Jasmine adds white-floral volume, and Lysylang acts more like a creamy floral extender than a distinct ylang note.
