Lust in Paradise Extrait is the 2026 Quintessence version of Ex Nihilo’s Lust in Paradise, again by Louise Turner. It takes the original’s Riviera floral idea and makes it darker, fruitier and woodier: blackcurrant, rosyfolia, pink pepper and ginger over rose, jasmine, Petalia, musk, Ambrofix, Akigalawood and cedarwood. It is less airy than the EDP and more ambery in the drydown.

The opening is blackcurrant, rosyfolia, pink pepper and red ginger. The fruit is tart and dark, sometimes read as sour or almost passionfruit-like, while the pepper and ginger make the rose feel aromatic and spicy rather than purely pretty.
