Maison Crivelli — Iris Malikhân
Essence
Iris Malikhan is a green leather-iris built around contrast: a bitter galbanum, cypress and mastic opening that relaxes into buttery orris, soft leather, vanilla and ambered powder. It is cerebral, moody and deliberately polarizing.
Scent Profile
The opening is sharp and green: galbanum, cypress, pink pepper and an anisic mastic facet create a bitter, almost chemical leather impression. This first stage is the test; some find it thrilling, others abrasive. After twenty to thirty minutes the composition softens. Orris becomes buttery and rooty, leather turns supple, and blackcurrant-leaf dryness gives the floral powder a green edge. Mimosa, amber and vanilla gradually warm the structure. The drydown is cocoa-dusted powder, leather, vanilla and amber. It is not a pretty cosmetic iris alone; it keeps a trace of the charred, green opening all the way into the creamy base.
Performance
Projection is clearest in the opening, then the scent becomes quieter and skin-forward while remaining tenacious. Most wearers describe moderate-to-good longevity with intimate projection after the first half hour; a minority experience much louder wear.

Best for cool weather, rainy days, office-to-evening use and people who enjoy thoughtful iris-leather compositions. It is unisex, sophisticated and inward-facing rather than an easy compliment scent.

Strongly polarizing but respected. Lovers praise the orris quality, green-leather opening and transformation from harsh to creamy. Detractors dislike the chemical bitterness or feel the vanilla base becomes too ordinary after such a distinctive start. Blind buying is especially risky.
