Cafe Tuberosa is an unusual coffee-and-tuberose Cologne Absolue that behaves more like a creamy chocolate mocha with a white-floral shadow. It is a gourmand experiment that can feel original and comforting or sweetly baffling.
Scent Profile
The opening puts roasted coffee beans, cocoa, citrus and cardamom together. Coffee is the clearest early material, with bitterness, milkiness and nuttiness all present before the scent rounds into a mocha effect. Tuberose is the disputed element. It can register as a clean, pale white floral, but many wearers find it secondary to coffee and cocoa, with rose more apparent. Do not expect a dramatic battle between espresso and a heady flower. Vanilla and clean patchouli make the drydown soft and sweet, retaining a tobacco-like cocoa trace. Once the mocha profile arrives, development is relatively linear. It belongs to the coffee-cocoa-patchouli gourmand family more than to a traditional tuberose fragrance.

Most experiences place it around moderate longevity with a soft scent trail, though reports vary dramatically by skin. Because it is a sweet gourmand, measured application is safer than aggressive overspraying.

Cool weather, evening, dates and cozy casual situations bring out its best. The coffee and patchouli give it grounding, but the creamy sweetness often reads feminine of center. It is not a bright, universally easy daytime fresh scent.

There is one Cologne Absolue composition and no known reformulation. It is discontinued.
