Bergamot opens with an Earl Grey suggestion, joined by neroli and a clean floral lift. The tea accord does not necessarily smell like a literal brewed oolong; it is an airy aromatic construction that works with bergamot to imply tea. Jasmine and pale leather arrive in the heart. Leather can feel like smooth suede or worn paper, and it is not equally visible to every nose. This perceptual variation is part of the fragrance’s understated design. Guaiac wood, vetiver, tobacco blossom and white musk soften the drydown. The result may be lightly smoky and earthy, but musk is the true backbone. It moves in gentle waves between fresh tea brightness and quiet dry wood.
