Essence
Lune Feline Vintage is a 2024 barrel-aged edition made for Atelier des Ors tenth anniversary. It takes the original dry, spicy vanilla and ages it in ex-cognac oak barrels to emphasize base depth, woodiness and texture.
Scent Profile
The scent remains recognizably Lune Feline: cardamom, cinnamon and pink pepper at the top; styrax, ambergris and cedar in the heart; Tahitian vanilla, Peru balsam and musk in the base. The Vintage treatment is meant to deepen the balsamic, woody and slightly boozy facets rather than replace the formula. Expect dry smoky vanilla with animalic warmth.
Performance
The barrel-aged edition is intended to strengthen the base. Expect a strong spicy opening and a long drydown that becomes increasingly close, with skin chemistry playing a meaningful role.
