Essence
Musc Immortel is not a clean laundry musk. It is an iris, immortelle and musk composition: grapefruit and clary sage at the start, then powdery iris, earthy vetiver, patchouli, cypriol, ambrette, musk and the warm straw-like glow of immortelle.

The opening is a bracing lift of grapefruit and clary sage. Iris appears quickly, powdery and translucent, while immortelle adds a sweet straw, caramel and liquorice nuance. Patchouli, Haitian vetiver and cypriol turn the heart earthy and woody. Ambrette and musk give the base a corporeal, close-wearing softness.
