Shaghaf Oud Azraq is a blue-bottle honey-cinnamon amber oud: thick, sweet, leathery and built for cold weather, with the value punch Swiss Arabian’s Shaghaf line is known for.
Scent Profile
The opening is honey over mild oud. The honey is dense and slightly sour, while the oud is woody and resinous rather than dirty. From the first minutes, this is warm and sweet rather than smoky or austere.
The heart is cinnamon, amber and Madagascar vanilla. Cinnamon can become the defining note, especially after the bottle ages, giving the scent an apple-crisp or cinnamon-roll warmth without turning fully into a dessert gourmand.
The drydown brings leather and patchouli into the amber. Leather stays supporting, patchouli gives earth, and vanilla softens the base. The through-line is spiced honey anchored by oud and resin.
