Costume National Homme Parfum is the drier, more formal 2020 parfum companion to Dominique Ropion’s 2009 Homme. It keeps the cardamom-cinnamon-labdanum DNA but gives sandalwood, woods, and persistence a cleaner, more composed role.

Grapefruit and bergamot provide a brief spark before green cardamom takes over. The cardamom is crisp and slightly camphoraceous rather than dessert-like, while cinnamon reads as dry bark and resin instead of pastry. The spice phase can suggest tea without becoming a gourmand.
