Robert Piguet Oud is a 2012 Aurelien Guichard oriental-woody that treats oud as an intensifier for animalic musk, myrrh, styrax, patchouli, guaiac, and smoke. It is not polite rose-oud. It is dirty, resinous, medicinal, and deliberately divisive.

The opening sets saffron against a green, medicinal balsam-fir effect.
