The character is genuinely apothecary-like, almost like high-quality essential-oil blend; one wearer describes it as “skillful essential oils blend for massage in exotic country,” which fits. Cypriol bleeds in early from the base - its tarry-earthy character is one of the defining notes of Nemer and is present from the opening, not just the drydown.
