Tobacco Sapphire is the 2022 addition to Boadicea’s flagship Sapphire Collection - a parfum-strength spicy-oriental built around cumin, coriander, saffron, mandarin, magnolia, and tobacco-with-vanilla-benzoin. Its dominant wearer framing is as a near-clone of Byredo Tobacco Mandarin (2022), released within months of the Byredo and consistently identified by experienced wearers as essentially the same composition with minor variation. It is one of the brand’s most polarizing and most price-sensitive releases - by all accounts well-made, by many accounts derivative.
