The opening is creamier and boozier than Dior Homme Parfum’s: ambrette (musk mallow) provides a soft, slightly fruity, slightly nutty musk foundation from spray one; cognac and rum add an opulent boozy sweetness without becoming gourmand; cardamom, saffron and cinnamon supply oriental spice; bergamot lifts the top.
