Tsarina is Ormonde Jayne’s cool iris-suede fantasy of Russian opulence: citrus, cassis, coriander, suede, iris, white florals, vanilla, labdanum, woods, and musk. The marketing is imperial and baroque, but the perfume is more intimate: powdery, polished, expensive-smelling, and soft.

The opening is a brief sparkle of bergamot, mandarin, cassis, coriander, peppery lift, and aldehydic polish.
