The opening is a sharp warm-spice flash: pink pepper, cardamom, and saffron with a faint leathery metallic edge. It needs a little time to lose that bite. Once settled, rose appears quietly and the patchouli turns dark and chocolate-like. Amber, castoreum, and muted oud make the base warm, woody, and slightly animalic without becoming barnyard or medicinal. The drydown is the best phase: cozy, balsamic, and polished, more amber-patchouli comfort than aggressive oud.
