Essence
Delina Exclusif is Quentin Bisch’s 2018 nocturnal sequel to Delina - the same rose-fruit-DNA reframed as a denser, oudier, more vanillic floral-oriental. It is darker, sweeter, more incense-driven, and noticeably stronger in performance than the original Delina, positioned by PdM and by Bisch as the “evening” companion. Wearer response has nicknamed it the “winter Delina.”
Scent Profile
Delina Exclusif opens fruitier and softer than the original Delina, despite the listed pink pepper. Lychee is still present but less tart; pear and grapefruit replace the original’s rhubarb and bergamot, producing a juicier, rounder, less sharp opening. The pink pepper gives a slight spicy lift in the first five to ten minutes. Within twenty minutes the rose is already pushing through. Through the first to third hour Delina Exclusif’s signature accord asserts itself: a rose-incense-amber heart with vanilla and oud underneath, what Bisch called “a liqueur de rose.” That is the most precise critical characterization of what Delina Exclusif does in the heart that has been published. The agarwood/oud is restrained - it functions as a smoky, slightly leathery shadow rather than a Middle Eastern oud-bomb effect. Incense is moderately present, more frankincense-clean than churchy. The orpur/petalia-style rose treatment from the original is amplified by what Sophie Normand identified as “honeyed nuances and a velvety texture.”
Performance
Performance is the strongest in the entire feminine PdM line. Sillage is strong - the trail follows you down a hallway. Behavior is dramatically better in cold and dry conditions than in heat - Delina Exclusif is genuinely a winter fragrance, and in summer humidity it becomes cloying and headache-inducing for many wearers. The vanilla and amber base goes oppressive in heat. Best application strategy: one to two sprays maximum, and never to the wrists if you’ll be eating - the vanilla-rose amplifies on warm pulse points. Some experienced wearers spray once to the back of the neck and leave it; others mix one spray with one spray of original Delina for a balanced day-into-evening signature.
Wearing Context
Best seasons: late autumn through early spring, with peak winter being its sweet spot. Time of day: evening and night, formally. Occasions: dinner dates, formal events, holiday parties, opera/theater, cold-weather weddings, restaurant evenings where olfactory presence is welcome. Settings where it falls flat: summer daytime (almost guaranteed to become cloying), office in shared close quarters (too much trail), gym, casual brunch, hot-weather travel. Grown up, fulfilled and more daring.

The mandatory comparison is original Delina - Exclusif is the same DNA reframed: less fresh, more dense; no rhubarb; pear/grapefruit instead of bergamot/rhubarb; same rose; much more vanilla, incense, and oud in the base. Blind buy verdict: only if you’ve worn and loved original Delina and want the winter version. The Exclusif’s denser profile is a genuine compositional shift, not just an intensification.
