Essence
Delina is the bestselling feminine in the Parfums de Marly catalogue and arguably the most culturally significant niche rose-fruity-floral of the late 2010s and 2020s. Composed by Quentin Bisch in 2017, it pairs a Damascena rose with a tart lychee - rhubarb accord, a soft white-floral heart, and a creamy musk-cashmeran-vetiver-vanilla base. Bisch has described it as “the garden of roses, mid-day, fully blooming.” The fragrance defined the modern lychee-rose category, drove an entire generation of Lattafa/Maison Alhambra/Armaf dupes, and went on to a second-life viral moment in August 2024 when Snoop Dogg named it his signature scent during the Paris Olympics.

Delina opens with a tart, bright fruit-and-citrus burst that is the single most-imitated opening in modern feminine niche perfumery: lychee dominant, rhubarb sour-green underneath, bergamot lifting both. Behavior is best in cool to mild temperatures and dry-to-moderate humidity. In heat the rose can amplify uncomfortably and the rhubarb sharpens; in humid summer Delina La Rosee is the better seasonal swap.
