Scent Profile
Blackcurrant bud arrives first with a tart, leafy, almost mentholated edge. A rush of aldehydes makes the opening feel cold, glassy, and synthetic in an intentional way. Rose, ylang-ylang, orange blossom, and jasmine remain behind that bright surface at first. The middle adds a bitter black-licorice thread. The scent does not develop in a straight line: fruit and floral flashes return around a green incense phase, then give way to warmer resins. That shifting structure is much of its appeal. The drydown is more recognizably woody and smoky, with incense, patchouli, and a dry sandalwood powder. The lasting contrast is between artificial aldehydic glare and darker, smoother materials.
